Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those who know me, you'll know that I usually try to do a fundraising event each year, usually an organised road race.  But this year I've decided to do my own challenge to raise money for the Starfish Greathearts Foundation. 

For those who haven't heard of Starfish, they're an international development charity, aiming to bring life, hope and opportunity to children in southern Africa who have been orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS. 

They are big ambassadors for promoting the concept that 'everyone can make a very real difference to the lives of these children.' 

So what is my challenge this year?  I'm planning on attempting to cycle 600 kms in 6 days, from the West Coast of France to Northern Spain.  Now cycling is not usually my thing, so this is quite a challenge for me, but hey....I wanted to do something that was definitely a challenge, to show support for those in Africa whose life is a real life challenge every day. 

And I'm asking you all to please provide a donation in support of this.  It doesn't have to be a lot, just giving up a couple of your usual Cafe Latte's or morning muffins would certainly help out.
