Virgin London Marathon 2010 · 25 April 2010 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Last year Justin and I were in London when the Marathon was taking place. We watched in awe to see people run and the support that others showed them. It made us feel that we should be doing something like that.

I will be running on behalf of the Motor Neurones Disease Association. This is a devastating disease that has unfortunately hit my family. My eldest brother Ian has this disease and whilst there is absolutely nothing that I can do to stop this, the least I can do is try and raise as much money as I can. Your contribution will go towards research into what causes this disease and hopefully to find a cure.

Justin will be running for Get Kids going which is a charity to provide sports wheel chairs for talented disabled children.

Thank you for your generousity

Julie
