After running a number of 10k races and the Wokingham half marathon in 2008 we decided over a drink or two to run a marathon and hence this page. The Brighton Marathon has been launched this year and hopefully will prove to be a memorable experience for all the right reasons!
We have been training for what seems like months now and in all weathers, with a good time in the Wokingham Half in February and our last long run of 21 miles a few weeks ago, it is now time to cut back and hope no more injuries occur before the big day.
We are raising money for Clic Sargeant as after knowing a friend of both Dan and Peter's with Leukaemia it certainly shows you just how frightening it can be.
