<p>Hi and welcome to my JustGiving page.</p> <p>My story begins with a simple New Year's resolution.&nbsp; I decided I was going to get fit in 2012.&nbsp; After joining a personal fitness group on Twitter and being convinced to run by my cousin.&nbsp; We then decided we would&nbsp;enter the BUPA Manchester 10k as a motivation tool to get us running.&nbsp; So, here I am! Entered for the 10k (further than I have ever run) and raising money for a very worthy cause.</p> <p>My chosen charity is the Ryan Stanford Appeal. Ryan is 3 years old and is suffering from a terminal genetic disorder affecting his brain and liver causing severe epilepsy which only affects children.&nbsp;&nbsp;I am helping Ryan's parents&nbsp;(along with many others)<span class="fsm"> to raise money to fund research into Alpers Syndrome to help other children.
