My story
Hi and welcome to my JustGiving page.
My story begins with a simple New Year's resolution. I decided I was going to get fit in 2012. After joining a personal fitness group on Twitter and being convinced to run by my cousin. We then decided we would enter the BUPA Manchester 10k as a motivation tool to get us running. So, here I am! Entered for the 10k (further than I have ever run) and raising money for a very worthy cause.
My chosen charity is the Ryan Stanford Appeal. Ryan is 3 years old and is suffering from a terminal genetic disorder affecting his brain and liver causing severe epilepsy which only affects children. I am helping Ryan's parents (along with many others) to raise money to fund research into Alpers Syndrome to help other children. Read more at www.ryanstanfordappeal.org.uk
