I started running in November 2008 and, on the first day of my C25K training plan, exhausted after running for a minute, I never thought I'd be running a marathon one day.

But two years later, here I am , several 10K and 5K races behind me and a growing collection of medals jangling from my curtain tieback. My PE teacher would be so proud - after she had recovered from the shock!

I chose Bliss as my charity to run for because I know so many people whose lives have been affected by premature birth. Some, like my nephew, survived - others did not.

I am running for Bliss to raise money so that more premature babies' lives can be saved by their research.
