My family & I are organising a fundraising day in June 2011 to raise money for the British Liver Trust.
My mum Margaret had lived with a rare liver disease called PSC for 16 years and last year developed cholangiocarcinoma, bile duct cancer, which when combined make the cancer very difficult to detect and treat. She died within 6 weeks of becoming ill at just 60 years old and so we are raising money for the British Liver Trust who have agreed to ring fence any money raised to support some research into earlier diagnosis.
I will be cycling 50 miles around the village and countryside where my parents have lived my whole life along with many of our friends and family (there is also a children’s toddle, a walk and a 10 mile run – I will only be doing the one event, that is quite enough!) and would deeply appreciate your financial support for the British Liver Trust who are holding the money for us until there is enough for the research.
Please visit magstock.org to have a look at our plans and for more information as June approaches....and indeed after the event for photos and hopefully a grand total!
Thank you thank you with lots of love xx
