Story
Everyone who knows of my special angel, will know i am trying so hard to raise funds for the Princess Royal Neonatal Intensive care unit, in memory of her. On 26th of January 2012 my life changed forever, this is the day i met my beautiful baby girl Julianna, so beautiful, perfect and fighting to stay with her big sister karla, me and all her family. My princess amased everyone every day, fought miraculously hard and breathed more love into my heart ....as with others...i think she was born to amase, to inspire, to delight. Julianna was born just under 24weeks gestation , weighing 520grams and gave me the hardest yet ironically the best 17 days of my life which i will cherish forever, engraved in my heart and soul. tradgically on 12th february, despite the doctors and nurses, especialy dr chris lilley, dedicated care and valiant efforts, my princess became an angel when she lost her life . Having experienced the staff's incredible dedication to the vulnerable babies in the unit and to their families i would like to say thank you and do something to help them keep up their excellent work. I am trying to raise enough funds to purchase a vapotherm machine £2500 or a much needed tecotherm matress £5000. Iam hoping to try and indirectly help one more baby and family who enters this unit which is so close to my heart now. I am doing a sponsored walk around strathclyde country park, sunday 17 june....a half marathon, sunday29 july and a charity night , saturday 18 august ...
We have since had a charity football match and Christmas raffle .in 2013
