Story

Hi there,Thanks for taking time out of your busy life to visit my JustGiving page. The event I am participating in is Sailing a Tall Ship on the Solent. The reason I am doing this is to raise money for the charity JDRF or to give it it's full name The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This page is not the only way I am the raising money

On the 22nd April I am starting a SPECIAL AUCTION  on e-bay called... A SALE FOR A SAIL!!!!  Here is the link:

http://members.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewUserPage&userid=mogs20

It will sell signed and limited edition items

INCLUDING a signed copy of 'War Horse' by Michael Morpurgo and 'Veg' by Greg Wallace & limited edition t-shirts and bags with a choice of 3 fun designs.

So head over there and take a look!

Type 1 Diabetes is a horrible disease which you have for life. When you have type 1 diabetes you can't just do anything when you like anymore. You have to test your blood sugars before eating and excercising and you have to inject yourself with insulin to keep your blood sugars under control. If you think your life is hard try having type 1 diabetes to deal with. Basically it takes over your life and you can't do anything about it. There is no cure and it doesn't just disappear. That's what JDRF is all about - finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

So donate some money today and remember every penny goes to research for a cure to the terrible disease that is Type 1 Diabetes.
