This time, I have a running buddy!  My 17 year old daughter Rosie and I are running the Bupa Great South Run together in October. This is a 10 mile run in Portsmouth, and we have decided to run for Cancer Research.

I know many of you are already very generous with your time and your pocket with regards to very worthy charities. However, we have chosen this charity as, sadly, it seems that every one of us has been affected by cancer if not personally, then knowing a close friend or family member who suffered with it and I hope you can sponsor us, even just a small amount to help us raise money to go into research of this dreadful disease. Even just a few pounds will be hugely appreciated.

Rosie and I are sharing our page so you are sponsoring us both together. 10 Miles is a reasonable enough distance to demand that we keep training through the summer holidays so if you see us out running, you know what we are working towards.
