Donisthorpe Hall is an elderly care home designed to be a place of warmth and comfort, where you feel you belong, where you feel cared for. It has true community spirit where friendship amongst our residents is recognised as being as important to their wellbeing as the care they receive

Story

Since training began in January I have aches in muscles I never knew existed, have bruised my hip and elbow and grazed my knee. I have also fallen over more times than I wish to admit to and there are still 5 more months of ice skating training to go!!!

I am sure you are now all asking why I am doing this. The reason is very simple... how often do you get to wear American tan tights, sequinned lycra, fake tan and perform in front of a 1000 people at Leeds United Stadium, and, help raise much needed funds for a worthy charity?

Honestly though, this is the hardest thing I have ever done, training 3 times per week, forgoing nights out, weekend lie ins and damaging my body and pride on a weekly basis!

So please make my physical and mental bruising worthwhile and make Donisthorpe even more successful by supporting me.
