I have been invited by my friend Sol to join him in this challenging trek across the Jordanian desert & raise funds to help support children in need in this part of the world.
The Arsenal Foundation uses the power of football and the Arsenal name to inspire and support young people in north London and across the globe. In partnership with Save the Children, they have co-developed the ground-breaking Coaching for Life programme which utilises football to improve the mental wellbeing of children affected by conflict and violence. I am going to join Arsenal Legends David Seaman and Per Mertesacker, and 100 fellow fans to demonstrate my support for Arsenal and The Arsenal Foundation. I will push myself out of my comfort zone and raise as much as possible to empower children across the globe
through Coaching for Life.

The Arsenal Foundation uses the power of football
and the Arsenal name to inspire and support young people in north London and across the globe. In partnership with Save the Children, they have co-developed the groundbreaking Coaching for Life programme which utilises football to improve the mental wellbeing of children affected by conflict and violence. The programme is currently operating in the Za’atari Refugee Camp in Jordan and the slum communities of Jakarta, Indonesia. In Indonesia, The Arsenal Foundation is working with children living in dense urban slums where many are at risk of extreme hunger, exploitation and child marriage. In Jordan, they are working with Syrian refugee children who have seen their lives torn apart by conflict. The programme aims to reach 4,500 boys and girls aged between 12-18.
