Heyo!

I'm running a half-marathon for the Children’s Brain Tumour Research Centre (CBTRC) as part of the University of Nottingham (UoN) 500 Runs the Robin Hood. A bunch of staff and students from UoN are running in the 24th of September 2017 Ikano Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money to help fund research behind treating brain tumours in children.

The cutting-edge research performed by the best possible people in place from the CBTRC contributes to national and international research, leading new developments in research and clinical practice. It'd be fantastic if you could take a bit of time to donate to this charity and help save the lives of children.

I'm also running this because I've run a 10 mile marathon before, but haven't done more than that since. So this is me trying to take a step up (pardon the pun) on my running game.

By giving a little money, you'd be funding research leading to a greater understanding of the development of tumours and how to combat that, saving the lives of children and others, all while making me run too many extra miles.

If it makes it any more interesting, I've only got 1 month to train from scratch.
