Jump 524 · 5 August 2012

Back Up services include mentoring, wheelchair skills training and activity courses as well as support in getting back to work or school after an injury. We provide peer led tailored support to help people adjust to a spinal cord injury and inspire independence and confidence for a positive future.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After almost a year and a half since breaking my neck in a bad landing, I plan to return for my 524th skydive in conjunction with The Back-Up Trust, a charity that amongst other things aims to reintroduce people with spinal cord injuries to outdoor activities and mentor them through their adjustment back into daily life. I will be jumping with 4 members of staff and 3 ex-patients from the spinal unit here in Salisbury. Unfortunately as my accident rendered me tetraplegic I can no longer jump unassisted, and so we will all be completing our jumps as tandem passengers.

Please support us by digging deep for our worthwhile cause.
