The Friends of the Beatson is located within the Beatson cancer centre, designed as a retreat for patients and a place of calm. It offers invaluable support to cancer patients and their families, providing relaxing and therapeutic environment with complimentary non-medical services designed to assist the wellbeing of Beatson patients.

From the moment we walked through the door into the humbling surroundings. We were welcomed by the most incredible team of volunteers. Shug spent many a day within the Friends of Beatson, whether it was for a cup of tea and a chat, or receiving one of the many treatments available.

It was Shugs wishes that the Friends of the Beatson should benefit from all donations in lieu of flowers ensuring that this service will continue to be available to others.
