Story
In August, my son was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. This was fortunately found after he had an accident on holiday which resulted in a scan being done on his leg. A problem was noticed in the scan.
He is now having Chemo at University College London. The ward is amazing for all the kids battling cancer. The staff are amazing and everything a child wants, is here. Games, Xbox, Playstaions, Music Centre, Pool Tables, Tables & Laptops, beside teaching, social care......you can't ask for more.
We all feel we can fight our own battles, but when its your child, you can do little except give the love your child needs. To see others care and help your child. Ease their pain, their sickness, make them smile, arrange beside entertainers, breakfast clubs, music afternoons etc. The list is endless. As a parent, I am amazed by everything I have seen from the staff to the facilities.
Please help me say thank you to this amazing trust in a way that can help them and pledge a donation as I shave my hair to match my sons current look.
