Cardiac Risk in the Young Verified by JustGiving
RCN 1050845 (England & Wales), SC052581 (Scotland)
Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by young sudden cardiac death (YSCD). We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I completed the Virgin London Marathon in 6 hours, 14 minutes and 31 seconds. Due to tearing my ligaments around mile 16, my second half of the marathon was at basically a walking pace but I still wanted to finish in order to achieve my goal and raise money for CRY.

Please, if you can give anything, it is all for a worthy cause.

CRY was founded in 1995 to raise awareness of conditions that can lead to Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD); Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS, SADS)

CRY uses its donations for the following:

<!-- /* Font Definitions */ @font-face {font-family:Wingdings;
