Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this page.

In Jan 2011 - I will be trekking Mt Kilimanjaro to raise much needed funds the Velindre Cancer Centre.

This centre carries out a remarkable job in caring/providing for its patients. My own father attended Velindre during his illness and Im taking on this challenge as a way of repaying the centre for what they did for my family and others close to me. This will be a challenging and demanding, but ultimately incredibly rewarding experience, of which I hope you can support.

The Trek Kilimanjaro event is being organised to raise money so that the centre can continue to provide care and support to cancer patients and their families in , as they have done for over 50 years. Velindre Cancer Centre is the largest non - surgical in providing Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and other specialised anti-cancer treatments for over half the people of .
