This has come round quicker than I imagined it would. In just a few weeks’ time I will take part in Tough Mudder. If you are not aware of what this involves it is an 8-10 mile run with 25 obstacles along the way coupled with 500,000 litres of mud and 40 tons of ice. I’m now wondering why I didn’t just bake a cake for the world’s biggest coffee morning.

Well the answer is simple. Every day hundreds of people in the UK hear the devastating news that they have some form of cancer. And with over 200 types and the horrendously scary statistic that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with some form of cancer in their lifetime means that sadly but quite realistically this will not be the biggest challenge I face in my lifetime.

As I am sure we all do, I have many charities close to my heart but for this event I am asking for donations to Macmillan Cancer support. Please help me to reach my target and help those living with cancer to face their much bigger challenges each and every day.
