Thanks for taking the time to visit my page!

I was inspired by M&S and Breast Cancer Now’s #LetsGetMoving Campaign. Having had cancer myself when I was at my most physically active, it has taken a long time for me to feel like myself again. Now is the right time for me to take up this challenge!

I lost my mother, Clementine, to breast cancer shortly after I’d completed my chemotherapy. She was an incredibly strong woman and kept active even during her gruelling treatment. I wonder what she would make of me running a marathon!

This is going to be my first marathon; it will be a huge challenge as I’ve never run more than 5k! I hope to show people that you can come back from cancer and that the memory of a loved one can inspire you.
