Story
I am unfortunately having to back out of this years mud run due to a diagnosis of Arthritis in my shoulder and foot... Unfortunately not a great combination for monkeybars and mud filled pits.
I am very sorry I have let people down but it has proved imposible to get my fittness up in time to do this.. Once I have had some treatment I will aim to do this next year instead....
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am beginning to think this is a silly idea but I am doing the JCB Mud Run in June for a great cause.
The JCB Mud Run 2013 will take you up in the woods, down into muddy streams, wriggling in and out of mud baths, scrambling up hills, running down dale and across fields, punctuated by the lure of some 20 fun obstacles to get over, under, in and out … It is going to be very dirty;0)
WAY Widowed and Young is an amazing organisation that helps young widows and widowers. It got me through the darkest period of my life and got me through the other side pretty much un-harmed.
WAY is there to support the whole family and is run by volunteers who give their time to organise fantastic family events. I woul love to make enough money to help organise a wild weekend for bereaved families to go out and get muddy!
I have made some amazing friends and want to give a little back to help more people who are in my situation.
I suppose I best get training!
thanks for yoursupport!,,,
