<p>Jyoti Bruce - Always smiling..</p> <p>My father, Suresh Patel and I will be embarking on a&nbsp;3 day coast to coast 174 mile cycle ride for your kind donations.</p> <p>Jyoti suffered from a condition that has <strong>no cure</strong>. Since the age of 8 years, Jyoti suffered from seizures, tunnel vision, balance difficulties, motory issues on the left side of her body.</p> <p><a title="What is Mitochondrial Disease" href="http://www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk/mitochondrial-disease/">Mitochondrial myopathy</a> is a collective term for a group of diseases that particularly affect muscle, but which may also affect every other part of the body including the brain and the eye.</p> <p>On the 28th March 2012, and after 4 weeks of consistant seizure activity, Jyoti brain was unable to cope any longer and she sadly passed away leaving her loving husband of 9 months, mother, father and older brother.</p> <p>She will be sadly missed.
