The Big K 2010 · 16 June 2010

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

KILIMANJARO! Chris Moyles got there, Roman Abramovich didn't - and recently it was my turn to attempt to conquer the highest mountain in Africa. As you can see from the photo - I MADE IT TO THE TOP!!!  I hope you will support the huge effort I put in to reach the summit, by helping me to raise a huge amount of money for Teenage Cancer Trust - a charity I have supported consistently over the last 7 years, but which still desperately needs funds to ensure that every teenager with cancer in the UK (and 6 more are diagnosed every day) can receive specialist services aimed at their needs. Still too many teenagers end up on wards for young children or elderly people.

For more information about the trek - including a photo journal of the trip - and about Teenage Cancer Trust, visit www.k2010.org. But you can make your donation now!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
