I'm taking on a challenge with a twist on June 11th this year -  to climb Snowdon and swim in 3 icy lakes on the route back down.

I've undertaken this jolly jape to raise awareness and funds for Ovarian Cancer Action.

A great friend of mine lost her beautiful daughter last year at the age of only 24 to this dreadful disease.  Helen was a real free spirit with an amazing sense of humour, a wonderful singing voice -  and a wicked laugh!

Her family have faced this tragedy with courage and positivity and now campaign for the charity in Helen's memory. 

I would like to do my little bit with this madcap adventure and hope you'll be inspired to donate to this very worthy cause.
