We help Newcastle Hospitals to improve the patient stay in hospital

Story

Luke, Andy and Kev are going to ride about 160 miles from coast to coast over three days on mountain bikes, starting at Liverpool and staying overnight at Burnley and Northallerton.   On the final day riding the full length of the Cleveland Hills, along the Cleveland Way.  Luke and Andy have never rode any distance like this before, so it will be a very difficult challenge for them.  One day will be over 70 miles which none of them will have rode before.  They are raising money for the children's cancer ward of Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary, of which Luke's daughter Ellie attends, having been on chemotherapy for around two years now.  The staff do a fantastic job looking after her at the hospital, so Ellie's parents, Luke and Mo would like to give something back.  Most of the donations are being made directly, but this page has been set up for those who are unable to do that or find this easier...
