Bath to Bruges Cycle Challenge 2015 · 5 June 2015 to 8 June 2015 ·
I will be cycling from Bath to Bruges with a small group of friends as part of Bath University Raising and Giving Fund. We will be covering a distance of 260 miles(416 km) over 3 days between Bath and Bruges.
This will be the first time I have cycled any meaningful distance since I crashed last year at 75kph and is by far the longest cycle that I have attempted so it will be very challenging.
I'm doing this challenge for several reasons.Just a few days before we leave the majority of those cycling will graduate from University of Bath, so this is our last opportunity to do anything meaningful as a student. Having received help from the University above and beyond that as a normal student because of ADHD and depression, this is my last chance personally to both raise awareness and give something back, continuing the help for future and current students.
I am hoping to raise £400.00 for Bath RAG, raising money for local and national charities which students at Bath vote for. Last year Bath RAG raised over £100,000 for charity including over £5,000 each for last year's "big 4" - Julian House, Bath Mind, Sense and Teenage Cancer Trust.
Please donate as much as you can to raise money for these good causes. Thank you in advance for your support
