Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My perfect Grandad, John Warren (Sonny), passed away on April 6th 2012 after a period of illness. Within weeks of finding out he had a tumour in his liver he sadly passed away.

Being a very fit, healthy and active man it was very difficult for the family to deal with this and Saint Lukes Hospice have been there providing support since day one.

My Grandad's last week was spent in the loving care of Saint Lukes where the staff were fantastic, we even got my Grandad's dog Bonnie there to see him in the final days.

I truly cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done for my family.

I have decided to take on something I never thought I would ever do and that is to run the 2013 Virgin London Marathon. This is in memory of my Grandad and to raise some money for this fantastic charity.

Being a complete beginner, 26.2 miles is a veryyyy long way but I'm looking forward to taking on this challenge and giving it my best shot. I'm hoping to do it in under 5 hours.

Thanks for reading and dig deep guys :o)

Thank you for your support.
