Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In January 2010 I am going to attempt to climb Mount Kilimanjaro (Kili to its friends). I have zero mountaineering, hiking, or orienteering experience but I am doing this for an extremely worthy cause and also as a personal goal.

Prospect Hospice in Swindon is the only Hospice in the North East Wiltshire area around Swindon where I was born. Every day they have in their care approximately 250 patients, their families and loved ones. Each year it costs over £4million to provide their care.

In many ways I have been unfortunate that a family member has had to spend time in the Hospice, but fortunate that the people that work there are as dedicated, experienced and caring as they are, and the service they provide is as superb as it is.

Reach into your pockets as every pound counts. I simply hope to raise as much money as is possible to help this extremely worthy cause.
