Please support me in this chellenge by helping young people :)
XLP’s projects are delivering three clear outcomes:
Transformed attitudes and behaviours of young people towards their families, peers and teachers.
A raised sense of self-worth, self-esteem and increased educational achievement, which helps them confidently and positively contribute to their communities.
Encouraged young people who have fresh goals and work hard to achieve them, and who are empowered to make wise lifestyle choices.
XLP works in some of London’s most challenging areas because we believe in hope. Hope for people who have been put down by everyone else. Hope for areas that are constantly in the press for the wrong reasons, and hope for the future of London’s amazing young people. We have some values we stick to in all our work:
We’re grass roots focussed.
We’re relational, team-oriented and inclusive
We’re embracing diversity and multiculturalism
We’re radical and relevant to the marginalised
We’re empowering and envisioning for young people
We’re expectant of transformed neighbourhoods
