Karen & Richard are taking part in the Yorkshire Dales Walking Festival on Sunday 14 August 2011 and we're doing the marathon distance, 26 mile route!  We are doing this to support the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, the fund set up by the late Jane Tomlinson to raise money for childrens' and cancer charities.

We've been training together and have got to know the Berkshire countryside pretty well over the last few months but moving up to this distance over the challenging terrain of the Yorkshire Dales is something else - we're both looking forward to it but as the day approaches, we are getting more nervous!
