John O Groats to Lands End · 13 April 2013

Grace Eyre supports adults with a learning disability and autism across Sussex, empowering and enabling them to increase their ability, equality and independence to live fulfilled, happy and healthy lives. With your support we can offer pioneering projects that enrich and transform people’s lives.

Story

I'm planning on cycling from John O Groats to Lands End this June.  This will involve a lot of cycling: 960 miles over 9 days, averaging 106 miles a day.  Total ascent for the trip is around 15,000 metres, which is almost double the height of Mount Everest.

I've been cycling 50 miles before work, cycling in the snow, cycling 100+ miles to Salisbury, Canterbury, and round in lots and lots and lots of circles.  My legs are tired!  Please help me get to the end and raise lots of money for  great cause!

Grace Eyre support people with a learning disability to be independent and live the lives they want to.  What the service users want at the moment is to build a new kitchen - what they can already make on a griller is amazing, imagine what they can do with a fully fitted kitchen!
