<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I will be volunteering with the charity Mercy Ships for two months in August and September this year. I will be working as a steward on the <em>Africa Mercy,&nbsp;</em>the world's largest non-governmental hospital ship, with six operating theatres, a 78-bed patient ward and accommodation for more than 450 volunteer crew members. In the second half of 2012, the <em>Africa Mercy </em>will be in Guinea, to provide free life-changing medical treatment to thousands of people in desperate need. Mercy Ships&nbsp;also partners with local communities to improve health care, offering training and advice, materials and hands-on assistance.&nbsp;</p> <p>I will not be paid during my service with Mercy Ships, so any money I raise will help me and Mercy Ships to carry out their wonderful work.
