Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It seems only a short time ago that my mouth seemed to spring into action and volunteer me for the London 10K before my brain had a chance to kick in!  Now, several weeks down the line I have been training hard and I am looking forward to the run.  I am not an elite athlete, although I have been known to run for a cake now and then, my aim is just to complete the course and enjoy the experience!

I am running to raise money for the Civil Service Benevolent Fund (CSBF) which is in its 125th year.  Civil Servants are just normal people like you and me (yes, they are) and the CSBF supports them and their dependants in times of bereavement, long term illness, relationship breakdown and when emergency help is needed.  Whether you are a Civil Servant or not, I am asking you to help support people who sometimes find themselves struggling through no fault of their own.

For more information on CSBF please visit www.csbf.org.uk and to keep up to date with CSSC visit www.cssc.co.uk.

Thankyou
