My name is Karen Bass and I have been an active member of St John Ambulance for nearly 9 years. During that time St John Ambulance have given me a vast amount of First Aid Training.

First Aid is one of those skills that although it is good to learn you hope you never have to use, but it could be the difference between life and death. For the skills they have given me I would like to try and return something to them.

I decided to run in the London Marathon on the 22nd April 2012 with all money raised going to St John Ambulance as a way of saying thank you.

Obviously in order to raise money I need as much help as possible and I would welcome any contribution that you would be willing to make.
