As a Deaf mother of a deaf daughter, I fully support DeafSelf as a small charity play scheme based in London for deaf children and hard of hearing children aged 5 to 15 which my daughter attends during school holidays. My daughter really does thrive there as she is exposed to people who use British Sign Language since it is her first language that she can communicate with ease. 

The reason why I want to fundraise £300 is to assist DeafSelf to continue their work encouraging deaf children to make lasting friendships as well helps reducing isolation, building confidence & improving their quality of life. DeafSelf is giving the deaf children social opportunities in a safe, fun and learning environment.

If you do decide to donate no matter how small, I would be very grateful knowing that you are helping my deaf daughter to be in the right learning environment that meet her needs outside my home.
