I am running the Brighton Half Marathon for two worthwhile charities, The Sussex Beacon and Breast Cancer.

I successful got a place for the half marathon through supporting The Sussex Beacon, who support men, woman and families affected by HIV.

I am also supporting Breast Cancer Now in memory of Janine Barker, who died of breast cancer in September 2014. Since then another colleague's wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer and is continuing to fight it.

So I am doing this for both Janine Barker and Gillian Calvert.

Please support one of my charities, it really will help get be round 13.1 miles!
