i am a carer for our seventeen year old son, it is always a  fine line from being his mum and being his carer, I still have (well I would like to this so) my sanity , this has been in the form of fantastic suport from my amazing family, and wonderful friends. Their support has been at times as essential as oxygen for me , I am blessed.

this is not the case for many of the carers I have met over the years, the Carers Trust do a fantastic job in supporting these amazing people as they put their own needs on hold while they care for their loved ones, by offering, advice, information, training and much more .
