Since the loss of my mother-in-law (Shirley) in October 2012, I've wanted to do something to raise money for charity in a mark of respect to her.

This hike is the perfect way of doing this, at the same time raising money for Macmillan

Macmillan also helped a work colleague (Ann) with her fight against a brain tumour but unfortunately Ann lost her battle last November 2013.

Both of these lovely ladies were big characters and are sorely missed by all their families.
