Pictured above is my son Josh, for those that are unaware Josh was diagnosed with cancer (Spinal cord tumour) in October 2009. In May last year we visited Florida for a Holiday of a lifetime courtesy of The Christian Lewis Trust.
I cannot begin to explain how this holiday helped us all as a family after what had been a very difficult time. The great news is there has been no growth to Josh’s remaining tumour to date.
Because of what The Christian Lewis Trust did for Josh and us as a family we have decided that we would like to organise some fund raising events to give something back, so other families facing childhood cancer can experience the same respite and dream that Josh experienced.
I will be holding a succession of fundraising events to include a cake sale & sponsored walk in the hope that we can raise enough funds to support many other families.
