Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for ChildLine.  As many of you know I have been a volunteer counsellor for ChildLine for the past two and a half years.  The longer I am there the more I realise how precious a resource it is for children from all over the country.  We are somebody a frightened, abused, bullied, lonely, sad, confused, helpless child can talk to when they feel they have no-one else We are there 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to listen, support and help these children. A small team of us are aiming to raise a massive £50,000 so that more counsellors can be trained and more children's calls can be answered.

How are we proposing to do this? Just a small matter of riding from Land's End to John O' Groats in 12 days averaging 85  to 90 miles a day!  For someone who has only ever cycled a couple of miles on a 'sit up and beg bike' this is a huge and somewhat daunting challenge.  However this cause is so important to me that I am determined to complete it.  With your support I know I can do it.  The pain and effort will be worth it when I achieve my personal fundraising target of £2,600.
