Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. To understand the lunacy of why I am planning to jump out of an airplane, I want to tell you a little about Caiden.

Caiden was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in October 2008 at just 5 months old. After 6 months of intense chemotherapy, he suffered his first relapse 1month after stopping treatment. Another intense 3 month course of chemotherapy began just before his 1st birthday, then a Stem Cell Transplant. He had another relapse within a few months and started a weekly dose of chemotherapy for 18 months. After a further 18 months of remission, he devastatingly relapsed on New Year's Eve 2012 and was put back on chemotherapy immediately.
He has been in hospital since June for more intense treatment and full body radiation in the lead up to his Bone Marrow Transplant .... his only potential chance of a cure ....
He has pulled his family through the difficult, scary times with his determination, chilled attitude and bubbly personality. An amazing wee man and an inspiration to everyone.

The work undertaken by NICFC giving practical, emotional & financial support to children, teenagers and young adults with cancer and their families is fantastic. They have been wonderful with Caiden's family and every penny we can raise will help them in their work.

Please help by donating whatever you can ... every little helps !!
