Trek26 Hadrian’s Wall 2019 – 26 miles · 10 August 2019 ·

Retrace ancient Roman paths as you conquer Hadrian's Wall, one of England's most historical landmarks. Trek for loved ones, and raise money so together we can find a cure.

Story

In November 2018 our amazing Dad and Granddad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and it has changed his world and ours. So although there's currently no cure for this disease my sister - Julie,  my daughter - Joanna and myself want to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society, so that they can continue to carry on supporting those who are affected by dementia, until a cure is found and to also educate people so that we have a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted and able to live in their communities without fear or prejudice.

To do this on the 10th August we are going to trek 26 miles along Hadrian's Wall - hopefully completing it within 9 hours(possibly longer)! It would be great if you could support us, with all money donated going to the Alzheimer's Society so they can continue to help & support people like our Dad and our Mum as they both try and come to terms with this terrible disease and to help them find a cure.

Thankyou!
