In Memory of Malc Cooper

A loving husband and father.  For many years Malc looked after our mum, Judy, who has dementia.  His wish was for her to remain at home.  As well as being a full-time carer, Malc worked tirelessly to raise public awareness of carers and those caring for people with dementia.  He travelled all over the country and abroad spreading the word.

We will always remember his keen sense of humour and his willingness to get involved in activities and events, especially when it came to fund-raising.  We remember the time when he did a fund-raising stunt, having  his beard and moustache dyed multi-coloured and then a few weeks later having them shaved off in front of crowds of people at a Carers Week event in 2009!

Malc gave of his time willingly and unreservedly to support the cause of carers in Nottinghamshire through his close involvement  with Alzheimer's Society and Crossroads Care East Midlands.

We have set up this page in memory of our Dad to reflect his commitment and dedication to the causes close to his heart and would like to donate locally to Crossroads Care East Midlands.
