<p>It is estimated that, in the UK alone, there are between 200,000 and 300,000 children living with Kinship families. &nbsp;This is your chance to help raise awareness of Kinship Care and support those children that are not able to live with their parents for a variety of, often tragic, reasons.</p> <p>This page is dedicated to my late sister-in-law, Amanda, who suddenly passed away on 7th November 2005 leaving a 4 year old son. &nbsp;Kai came to live with us that day and all our lives changed forever. &nbsp;I had never heard of Kinship Care before that day.</p> <p>Help by showing your support and raising awareness of this issue. &nbsp;A donation of at least &pound;1 and I will send you a car sticker of our trademark blue handprints. &nbsp;Our aim is to have kinship carers and supporters, around the world, displaying this simple but poignant logo.</p> <p>I have chosen Grandparents Plus as my charity on this occasion as they have been excellent at campaigning and lobbying for increased awareness of Kinship Care and I have met some lifelong friends at their lobbying events.</p>
