HELLO and WELCOME

HOPE is elusive - its like a butterfly - its beautiful but hard to hold in your hand for very long.

HOPE is vital to the clients of CoolTan Arts - the mental health charity I work for!!!

The work CoolTan Arts does is designed to bring people HOPE by involving them in creative workshops and through advocacy as well as self-esteem building training (that last one is what I do!!!) And to maintain that HOPE by conversation, encouragement and a safe place to be themselves.

SUICIDE has recently become more prevalent among our client base as the government changes and reductions in personal budgets for the mentally ill have caused great confusion and anxiety, as well as less money - government funding has also been reduced, and often completely cut for  places like CoolTan Arts  - this has caused many day centres and helpful charities to  close down creating greater isolation for our clients.

Now HOPE is more important than ever!!!

Saturday October12th is a CoolTan Arts sponsered walk to raise funds to :-

  - Keep this charity running

 - Keep open a place that our clients come to so as to find HOPE
