Well training went on for this huge challenge.(maybe got to around 75% or so I thought before I went!)! Cycling in Cuba for 400km  - who would have thought it- and for someone who until this Easter had not been on a bike for 20 years - I certainly had my work cut out for me! I was determined not to expect to get through the challenge on the back of wine (lots) and mojitos (even more)!

There were some days out there which were excruciatingly painful and it seemed that every time you went around a corner there was another mountain ahead of you. Luckily I had the never ending support of the other 31 riders and somehow we got there.

The messages have been brilliant and so well received along of course with all the very generous donations.

I can still raise funds on this site and away from this site I have already raised £900 - so many thanks to all those people.  The funds raised over the years for the Childrens charities all over the world have made such a difference and I am really pleased to be part of this.
