Story

Karen and Richard's Great South Run 2009

On the 25th October 2009 we are taking part in The Great South Run 2009 in aid of Childrens Hospices UK.

We are both complete newcomers to running and so have been training hard for the past three months in the hope of completing the 10 mile course in around two and a half hours.

The 10 mile run will be taking pace in Portsmouth and will take us past a range of historic sites, including HMS Warrior, HMS Victory and the Spinnaker Tower.

Children’s Hospices UK is the national charity that gives voice and support to all children’s hospice services. Their vision is for every child and young person who is not expected to reach adulthood and their family to have access to the highest standards of children's hospice care and support close to home.
