At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

In September I will be cycling 969 miles, in 9 days, from Land's End to John O'Groats, averaging 100 miles a day.

I am part of a team of 25 people from Lloyds Banking Group who are aiming to raise £95,000 to support Alzheimer's Society.

Currently one in three people over 65 in the UK will develop Dementia and by 2051 the number of people with Dementia in the UK will double, reaching 1,700,000 people.  Many people with Dementia and their carers are still not living well with the condition, and quality of life remains extremely varied.

Help the Alzheimer's Society support those living with Dementia, by keeping them connected with their communities, staying in control of their lives and ending the loneliness and isolation that affects so many people with Dementia.

Thank you for your support.
