Is it a bird, is it a plane – no its Karen, Naomi and Stuart soaring through the skies!!!
Against the wishes of the people who care for us, we’ve committed ourselves to jump out of a plane at 14,000ft and plummet to the ground at 120 mph– for the sheer heck of it! We’ve set ourselves a huge personal challenge to raise at least £1,500 for the Air Ambulance and hope that we can gather as much support as possible to help us make that small step off the plane as easy as England winning the World Cup!!!
Great Britain’s Air Ambulance Services rely solely on donations and without our £’s they wouldn’t be able to save countless lives every single day of the year. We wanted to do something that would prove to be a test of ourselves at the same time as helping to support the Air Ambulance who provide an invaluable service to the East Midlands. It doesn’t matter who we are, we or someone we know may need them one day, or you may already know someone who wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the air ambulance Service, so what would we do without them?
The Air Ambulance service does not simply transport patients to the nearest hospital, they routinely carry senior Doctors and Consultants to the scene of incidents in just minutes, providing lifesaving treatment and medication at the scene and en-route to hospital. In essence, they take the hospital to the patient, providing the best possible chance of a full recovery.
So please help us raise wads of cash, we’re not taking this lightly and wouldn’t be doing this crazy thing unless we felt so strongly about the cause…
Please help our target of £1,500 before we jump on the 11th September 2010. If we go over it, Stu has promised to skydive topless, so please spare us whatever you can afford, the cost of a couple of pints or that weekend take away treat, really could save a life!
Go, on you know you want to!
