Story

Hello!

Thank you so much for finding the time to visit my page.

I'm running the London Marathon for the following reasons:

- It seemed like a good idea in October

- I thought it might cure me of my phobia of running for more than 50 yards (it hasn't)

- I reckoned I could get at least one new pair of shoes out of it

- But most importantly of all, I'm running the marathon to support the fantastic work World Horse Welfare do for horses and people all around the world. Please click on the link on the left or visit www.worldhorsewelfare.org to find out more

As most of you know, I am not a natural runner and the thought of trotting along for 26 miles is incredibly daunting (what will I do when I pass the 50-yard mark?!). But the thought of raising money for horses in need has kept me going and with your kind and generous support I am determined to see it through to the very end and to do my best for this amazing charity.

Thank you so much for reading this message and for supporting me — I am incredibly appreciative.

Karen x
