Well - we made it, a great achievemnet for us both. It was very tough going, the hills there make the South Downs look like speed bumps.
We had very hot weather as well, up to 45 degrees, at least it didn't snow like the last time.
The Vietnamese people were very friendly, but the poverty we saw in the remote villages made us realise what a privilege it is to live here and puts all our little moans to shame.
Thank you all for your support and donations. If you haven't paid up already we will be round with the photos and bore you into submission. Be thankful for what you have and be generous towards St Barnabas for all their excellent work.
Karen and Elaine
